Obtain Your Holland Interest Codes

Now that you have classified your types, it is time to obtain your Holland Interest Codes.  I recommend taking out a sheet of paper or opening a Microsoft Word or Excel file at this time, as you will need to record and save the Codes you create.

If you have only 1 Primary Type, use this One Primary Type spreadsheet.

If you have 2 Primary Types, use this Two Primary Types spreadsheet.

If those spreadsheets are not working properly, you can instead use this Obtain Your Holland Interest Codes Excel File.

Please note that the order of the letters within each Holland Interest Code does NOT matter for our purposes.  The letters are interchangeable.  For example, the code “RI” is the same as the code “IR”.

Now that you have your Holland Interest Codes, you’re ready to move on to Step 2: Create Your Occupations Roster.
