Benjamin Coffey is a Master’s student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Kentucky. He graduated from Brigham Young University–Hawaii in 2018, where he earned his B.S in Psychology and Certificate in Legal Studies. Following graduation, Benjamin was employed as a Research Analyst for the State of Alaska Division of Behavioral Health and was involved with reporting on behavioral health service outcomes, tracking substance abuse prevention programs, and providing data support for Alaska state legislature requests. Benjamin is a member of the HAMMER research lab, and his research interests include mental health stigma, help-seeking behaviors, and psychotherapy outcomes for Pacific Islanders. Email:
